Autumn Kloefkorn
Owner
Autumn has been around the funeral business all of her life. By the time she was born, her parents had operated the Parsons-Williams Funeral Home in Anthony (now Prairie Rose) since growing up in the business and living in the funeral home as a young child, she became more involved with the business as she grew older. Autumn is now the manager of Prairie Rose Funeral Homes. She is dedicated to helping people during their greatest time of need. She takes pride in her work and hopes to make each funeral memorable for the families she serves. Autumn grew up in Anthony and moved to Manchester after marrying Aaron Kloefkorn. In September 2018, Autumn and Aaron were blessed with their son Lawson. On March 1, 2020, Autumn and her brother, James, purchased Prairie Rose Funeral Homes in Anthony and Harper.

Bob graduated from the Department of Mortuary Science at Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 1977. He holds a funeral director and embalming license in both Oklahoma and Kansas. After graduating, he returned to Anthony, where he worked for Elliott Funeral Homes. He later worked at Parsons Funeral Home, which he purchased in 1982. He continued running Parsons-Williams Funeral Home with the help of his youngest daughter, Autumn, until 2004, when he sold to Mary Thomas, and it became Prairie Rose Funeral Home. Bob was raised in Manchester, Oklahoma, and graduated from Wakita High School. He served in the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He has four children, two of whom work with him at the funeral homes.
Bob retired in 2022 and passed away on March 5, 2026.

James Williams

James L. Williams was raised in the funeral business by his dad, Bob Williams. Graduating in 1993 from Chaparral High School, James then spent several years working in EMS, law enforcement, and a few other ventures. In 2014, he made the decision to come back to the family business to work with his dad and his sister, Autumn Kloefkorn. Passing the Kansas state board exam, James served his one year apprenticeship under his dad and received his Kansas Funeral Director's license in January of 2016. On March 1, 2020, James and his sister, Autumn, purchased Prairie Rose Funeral Homes in Anthony and Harper. James graduated from DMACC in August of 2021 with his Associates in Applied Science in Funeral Service and passed the national exams for Funeral Services Arts and Sciences on August 17, 2021. After serving his one year apprenticeship, James obtained his Kansas Embalmer's license in October of 2022. After passing the Oklahoma Funeral Law exam, James was granted his Oklahoma Funeral Director's license in April of 2023. James has had his Life Insurance License since July of 2015. James lives in Anthony, manages the Harper facility, and embalms for both locations. He has a daughter, Stephany and son, Wylie.

Gail began working for the funeral home in November of 2005. She is a hometown girl, having lived in Harper all of her life. She is the daughter of the late Robert "Bob" Hoover and Isabel Hoover, and Gail works at the funeral home in Harper. In addition to being secretary at the funeral home, she also sings, this being a family tradition. She and her sisters, known as the "Hoover Girls" in younger years, her cousin Jack Hoover and her late uncles, Hoyt and Forrest Hoover, have individually sang at functions in Harper for years. She and her husband, Lyle live west of Harper.
Gail passed away in 2024 and is greatly missed.

Wylie started working at the funeral home in 2019. He is James' son and lives near his aunt, Autumn, in Manchester.

Laura (Mast) Livengood and her husband, Jeff, live in rural Harper and have two sons, Joel and Logan. Laura has been helping with funerals since 2023.
