She passed away March 3, 2021 at her home in Augusta, Kansas at the age of 82.

On August 9, 1959 Wanda was united in marriage with Charles Meyer.  They celebrated their 60 th wedding anniversary in August of 2019.  To this union three children were born: Leah Ann, Pamela Kay, and Forrest Scott.

Wanda became a Christian at a young age and this greatly influenced the direction of her life.  She and her husband later became members of the Anthony Christian Church for over 20 years.  Later in their marriage they moved to Augusta, Kansas and became members of the Cornerstone Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas.

She influenced many young people in her tireless commitment to the church and wanting to see young people know Jesus.  Her influence will be felt for many generations from her impact to the church and the kids she prayed for, taught, cried with, laughed with, and treated like her own.

Wanda will be deeply missed by her husband, Chuck; daughters: Leah and Pamela; son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Mandy, and son-in-law, Rodney; as well as all her brothers and sisters.  She loved them all deeply.

Sisters: Shirley of Cassville, Missouri, Ella of Augusta, Bobby of Olathe, Kansas, Janice of Pratt, Kansas, Sissy of Wichita.  Brothers: J.R. Hammon of Andover and Danny of Kansas City, Kansas.
