Wanda June (Jordan) Dials was born July 23, 1933 in Morton, Texas to Leavie Elizabeth (Lockaby) Jordan and Irvin D. Jordan.  June grew up in west Texas with her mother, Leavie and her step-father, Herbert Walling.

As a young woman, June moved to Waco, Texas where she met an Air Force Sergeant from Kentucky, Acey Dials.  The couple were married in Waco on May 11, 1954.

In support of her husband's career and her growing family, June moved many times, eventually settling in Medicine Lodge, Kansas in 1967.  While June continued making a home for her family, she enjoyed involvement in school activities with her children.  She served as classroom mother, cheerleading sponsor, and all around sports fan as her family grew.  June also enjoyed crafts and showed great talent in crochet, sewing, and cake decorating.

Later in life, June and Acey enjoyed traveling to new places and spending time with their family.

With family by her side in Medicine Lodge, June went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Leavie and Herbert Walling, her brother, Claude Walling, and her granddaughter, Mary Theresa Breitenbach.

June is survived by her husband, Acey Dials of Medicine Lodge; children: John (Diane) Hovas of Texas, Liz (Gary) Lawson of Kansas, Connie (Joseph) DiPalma of Connecticut, Theresa (Stan) Breitenbach of Kansas, Loretta (Howard) Van Ranken of Arizona, and Jennifer Dials of Kansas; many Grandchildren, Great and Great-Great Grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Viewing and visitation is at the First Christian Church in Medicine Lodge from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday and family will be present to greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the First Christian Church in Medicine Lodge with Pastor Tom Walters officiating.  Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
