Obituary

Winnie Lee Bigley was born May 12, 1936 in Anthony, Kansas, daughter of Orrin Harrison and Helen Agnes (Zolezzi) Naylor. Lee, as she known by all, grew up in Anthony before moving to Wellington, Kansas.

In 1953, Lee was blessed with her son, Jack. In 1958, she moved to Wichita, Kansas. In 1961, her second son, Robert Dean was born, but sadly passed away at 3 days old.

On January 10, 1976, Lee was united in marriage with Charles L. Bigley in Wichita. Charles was father to eleven children. He passed away on August 8, 2008.

Lee loved to cook, fried chicken being her specialty. She also enjoyed making crafts and giving them to family and friends.

In 2016, Lee moved to Emporia to live with her nephew, Bobby and his wife, Judy. She passed away at home on November 9, 2018 at the age of 82. Along with Charles and her son, Robert, her parents and siblings: Lloyd Naylor, John Naylor, Betty Vess, Mary Margaret Hess and Harriett Sebring, preceded her in death.

Lee will be deeply missed by her son, Jack Perkins and wife, Michelle; several nieces and nephews including, Bobby Flores and wife, Judy; her step-children including, John Bigley and wife, Janet; numerous step-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.



Graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Forest Park Cemetery in Anthony with Pastor Alan Barus officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Park Cemetery and may be sent in care of the funeral home.

Prairie Rose Funeral Homes, 602 E. Main St., Anthony, KS 67003, is in charge of arrangements.
