Vada Vadora Allenbach passed away on April 8, 2020 in Anthony, Kansas.  She was born January 30, 1923 to Clarence D. Main and Hazel N. (Potter) Main in Amorita, Oklahoma, where she lived until her marriage.  She graduated from Amorita High School in 1941.

Vada was united in marriage with John E. Allenbach in a double wedding ceremony along with Oliver Allenbach and Glenis Main in Fort Knox, Kentucky on November 7, 1942.  To this union three daughters were born, Vonda, Vana, and Jan.

Vada was employed at Boeing Aircraft Company for over 35 years, where she created computer programs.  She and John spent many years living in the Attica and Anthony area.  They made many friends bowling and at church activities.  She was a prolific writer and teacher regarding her Christian beliefs.  Although she will be greatly missed we know how happy she is to be in her Heavenly home with all her loved ones who have gone on before her.  She will be remembered as the best mom and grandma anyone could have.

Vada is survived by her three daughters: Vonda DeLano of Oxford, KS, Vana Prouse of Anthony, KS, and Jan Yancey of Springfield, MO; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many other relatives.

A private family graveside will be held at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Burlington, Oklahoma.

Friends may sign Vada's register book from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony.
