Terry Lee Rorabaugh was born February 1, 1957 in Harper, Kansas to Raymond and Marjorie (Johnson) Rorabaugh.  He was raised in Harper alongside his two sisters, Debbie and Jennifer.  After graduating from Chaparral High School with the class of 1975, Terry attended Dodge City Community College to study Mathematical Engineering and play football.

Terry later moved to Boise, Idaho to work on various construction projections before returning home to work alongside his father.  Terry and Ray eventually formed a partnership, Rorabaugh Dozer Service, and worked together for several years.

On June 25, 1983, Terry was united in marriage to Wendy Balding, making their home in Harper.  Together they welcomed two children, Marcus Lee and Kylie Lynn.  Terry would often take the kids on job sites, letting them enjoy rides on heavy equipment long before reaching school age.

In 1997 , Terry moved to Norman, Oklahoma where he started his own construction business, Rorabaugh Construction.  Of all the construction jobs, Terry's proudest achievement was the Flood Avenue project.  Upon completion of this project, Terry was recognized by the City of Norman for his precise concrete work.

Those who knew Terry will remember him always on his cell phone, as he loved visiting with family and friends while on the road between job sites.  In fact, he carried two cell phones on him at all times in order to have a back-up when one battery died.  Terry was a driven, hard-working man, who enjoyed sports; specifically, OU football and OKC Thunder.  All of these qualities, and so many more, were passed along to his children.

On June 1 ^st , 2018, Terry passed away at Norman Regional Heathplex, surrounded by his children and close family.  He was proceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Marjorie.  Terry's memory will remain dear to those who survive: son, Marcus Rorabaugh, Haysville, Kansas; daughter, Kylie Rorabaugh, Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Debbie Smith of Goddard, Kansas and Jennifer Rorabaugh and fiancé, Brian Zwiebel of Abilene, Kansas; and numerous special cousins and many lifetime childhood friends.

We are saddened by the loss of Terry and per his request, a private family gathering will take place at the Harper Cemetery.  The family will hold a celebration of Terry's life for family and friends to attend at the Fence Post in Harper, Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
