Obituary

Terrie Lynn Stonebraker was born on September 11, 1959 in Fort Ord, California to Emmett Leroy and Claudette Louise (Schnorenberg) Holt.  She attended school in nearby Monterey.  As most military families, they moved around throughout the United States and even spent some time in the Phillipines.

Moving to San Diego, Terrie started her family with her first two girls, Deanna and Suzanne.  Then moving to Anthony, Kansas, her younger two girls came along, Katherine and Megan.  Terrie started working as a Health Aide at the Anthony Hospital.

Set up on a blind date at a New Year's Eve party in 1996, Terrie met the love of her life, Kent Allen Stonebraker.  On November 14, 1998 the two were united in marriage at Chikaskia Baptist Church in rural Harper, Kansas.  They made their home just outside of Harper.  They constantly enjoyed each other's company and sharing life together.  Their furbaby, Gemma was quite spoiled.

Continuing her work in health care, Terrie became a Home Health Aide for Harper County.  She later worked for Heritage Estates Assisted Living in Harper.  Terrie's passion was helping and caring for others.

Terrie enjoyed shopping, pedi days with the ladies, going to the casino, and watching television, usually cooking or crime shows.  She loved making jewelry and took pleasure in giving what she had made as a gift.  No matter what holiday it was, Terrie would decorate to the max.  And of course decorating for Christmas each year was the grand display.  But above all, she loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids.

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Terrie passed away at her home on November 2, 2021 with family by her side.  She is preceded in death by her father, Emmett; brother, Dennis; and grandson, Cullen Gregory.  She will be deeply missed by her husband, Kent of the home; daughters: Deanna Bough and her husband, Tommy of Kingman, Kansas, Suzanne Gregory of Wellington, Kansas, Katherine Patterson of Wichita, Kansas, and Megan Patterson of Anthony; grandchildren: Gage, DJ, Andrew, Dallas, Kaydence, Parker, and Paris; six great-grandchildren; mother, Claudette of Harper; sister, Allison Espinoza and her husband, Mario of Pretty Prairie, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Mario Espinoza Jr (Kelsi) and Carrie, Keith, and Paul Holt, Kyle Stonebraker, Kendra Kontz (Dan), Amy Buchholz (Brent), Gabriel Flaska (Kelly), Kacie Ruppert (Kevin), Skylor Flaska (Amy), Mackenzie Flaska, Karla Biel (Kenneth), and Kevin Megli; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation is Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
