Tammy Marie Fowler was born March 3, 1961 in Wathena, Kansas, daughter of Harold and Flora Marie (Bruns) Moon.  She graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

On October 30, 1981, Tammy was united in marriage with James Fowler in Kansas City, Missouri.  This union was blessed with 4 children: Bobby, Jamie, Dara, and Damien.  With James' career with the pipeline, the family moved many times.

In 2012, Tammy and James made Anthony, Kansas their home.  Tammy worked for Rusty's Bait Shop and Anthony Community Care Center, but her favorite job was helping her son, Damien mow Forest Park Cemetery.

Tammy was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her grandbabies lit up her life, and they all adored their nana/nina.  She enjoyed cooking, camping, and could never get enough BBQ.

On November 26, 2024 Tammy passed away at Anthony Community Care Center at the age of 63.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jamie Fowler; and brother, Bret Moon.

Tammy will be deeply missed by her husband, James; her children: Bobby Fowler, Dara (Chris) Davis, and Damien (Leslie) Fowler;  5 grandchildren: Makinzie Fowler, Jamie Fowler, Ayden Davis, Zarria Cooper, and Anna Turnage; siblings: Daren (Shannon) Moon, Regina (Allen) Hudson, Larry (Susan) Gilpatrick Jr., Rachel Foster, Sarah (David Kendrick) Ellington; other relatives and friends.

Memorial graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Forest Park Cemetery in Anthony.
