Sondra Lynn Davis was born on November 28, 1959 in Attica, Kansas to Dale Eugene and Lois Lorraine (Parker) Davis.  She grew up in Kiowa, Kansas and this is where she went to school, graduating from South Barber High School in 1978.  Sondra went on to attend Dodge City Community College to study Child Care Development.

Living on the East Coast for many years, Sondra worked as a nanny for several families.  She continued this career after moving back to Kansas.  Later she worked in daycare and retirement facilities.

Sondra was a resident of Hesston, Kansas for a few years and she passed away in a Wichita hospital on June 29, 2024.  Her parents, Dale and Lois Davis precede her in death.  Sondra is survived by her sister, Cheryl Voss and husband, Wayne; niece, Monica Bowmaker and husband, Curtis; nephew, Nathan Voss and wife, Brittan; three great-nieces and two great-nephews; her uncle, Lloyd Parker, her aunt, Linda Parker; cousins and friends.

Graveside Service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the Harper Cemetery where Sondra will be inurned next to her parents.
