Shirley Carol (Wilson) Crow was born on January 27, 1939 at the Galloway Hospital in Anthony, Kansas, to Melvin Charles and Dorothy Dalton (Burns) Wilson of Manchester, Oklahoma.
Shirley grew up on the Kansas/Oklahoma state line on the Carol Ranch.  After graduating from Manchester High School, Shirley spent a short time in Wichita, Kansas working at the Stockyards.  On one of her weekends back home, Shirley met her future husband while dragging main.  Ronny and Shirley were married on May 4, 1958 at the Manchester Christian Church.  For approximately 18 years they made their home in Anthony where four children were born.
In 1976, the Crow family moved to Wichita where Shirley lived in the same house until her death.
Shirley was baptized and grew up in the Manchester Christian Church, later attending and participating at the Anthony Christian Church.  After the move to Wichita, Shirley's membership was in the Antioch Christian Church.
Shirley passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the age of 85.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Ronny Crow of Wichita; children: Debra (Larry) Olds of Anthony, Denise (Kevin) Bindrum of Wichita, Derek (Stacy) Crow of Bird City, KS, and Darla Brown of Anthony; her brother, Max Wilson; 30 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and several friends she has known since high school.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Spring Grove Cemetery, west of Anthony.
Friends may view and register from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Prairie Rose in Anthony.
