Savilla Sue Stegall was born August 25, 1942 in Anthony, Kansas daughter of Howard and DeLee (Andrews) Hadsall.  She grew up in Anthony graduating from Anthony High School with the Class of 1961.

She furthered her education receiving her LPN license and spent many years working in healthcare.

On August 28, 1968, Savilla was united in marriage with Eddie Stegall in the United Methodist Church at Anthony. They made their home in Wichita, Kansas.

Savilla was a member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church in Wichita where she sang in the choir.  She was a very talented singer.  She had an ear for bird songs and loved nature.  She enjoyed camping and had an interest in astronomy.

On May 5, 2022, Savilla passed away at her home in Wichita at the age of 79.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Jack and John Hadsall.

Savilla will be deeply missed by her husband, Eddie; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials in memory of Savilla may be made to the Breakthrough Episcopal Social Services or the Wichita Audubon Society and may be sent in care of Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 602 E. Main St., Anthony, KS 67003.
