Sarah Elsie Miller was born August 21, 1931 in Meridian, Mississippi to Samuel and Cecile (Odom) Brewer and passed from this life on January 24, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 92.

On June 4, 1950, Sarah married Alden H. Miller in Mobile, Alabama.  They were married 71 years.

Sarah was predeceased by her husband, Alden; her parents; and sisters: Lois Belvin, Adele Sanders, Annie Ptocnak, and Katie Wallace.  Sarah was the baby of five sisters.

Sarah was a retired hairdresser and was fastidious about her own hair and appearance.  She enjoyed her collections and displaying them in her home.  Decorating for every holiday was a passion for her.  She loved going to the movies and traveling.  When Sarah became unable to go to the movies or travel, she watched movies as well as travel and animal programs on television.  She was a huge fan of the Yellowstone series.

Sarah is survived by her son, Marty and wife, Mickey; grandson, Travis and wife, Cassie; grandson, Tony and wife, Shannon; great-grandchildren, Anna and Paul; and many members of her extended family and friends.

Graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Manchester Cemetery in Manchester, Oklahoma.
