Ryan James Westenhaver was born June 16, 1978 in Shattuck, Oklahoma, son of Robby James Westenhaver and Donita Ann (Thornberry) Westenhaver.  He grew up in Beaver, Oklahoma, graduating from Beaver High School in 1996.  He furthered his education at Panhandle State University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2003.

On June 6, 2014, Ryan was united in marriage with Mindy Prater in Kansas City, Missouri.  This union was blessed with one daughter, Lucy.  Ryan also became a father to Mindy's children, Macy and Ashton.

They made their home in Anthony, Kansas where they were members of the Revolution Fellowship Church.  Ryan worked in signal maintenance for the BNSF Railroad.

On December 19, 2019, Ryan passed away at the age of 41.

He will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of his wife, Mindy; children: Lucy Westenhaver and Macy and Ashton Upham; his parents, Robby and Kathleen Westenhaver and Donita Westenhaver; his sister, Jennifer Westenhaver Foley; in-laws, Rick and Candi Prater; other relatives; and many, many dear friends.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Revolution Fellowship Church in Anthony, Kansas.  Graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Oklahoma.

Visitation and Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony.

Memorials in memory of Ryan may be made to Main Street Ministries and maybe sent in care of the funeral home.
