Ruth Louise McFall Meuser was born July 9, 1926 in Pratt County, Kansas, daughter of Harry Lloyd McFall and Elsie Mabel (Day) McFall.  She grew up in several small towns in Kansas and Colorado before graduating from high school in Pratt, Kansas.

On September 3, 1961, Ruth was united in marriage with Thomas Robert "Bob" Meuser in Wichita, Kansas.  They lived in several small towns before settling in Manchester, Oklahoma.  This union was blessed with two sons: David and Carl.

Ruth attended Pratt Junior College and later worked as a linotype operator for the Wichita Eagle.  She was very involved with her sons and their activities.  She was a Cub Scout den mother, Spring Robbins 4-H community leader, and Band Parent president at Wakita High School.  She was a devout member of the Wakita United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and served as the Sunday school superintendent.  She was also a pianist, playing for church and Sunday school functions.

On October 28, 2020, Ruth passed away at the Community Health Center in Wakita, Oklahoma at the age of 94.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob on August 24, 1995; her parents; her siblings: Reverend Bill McFall, Helen McFall, Alice McCauley, and Bob McFall; and her son-in-law, Dr. Bruce Stanton.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her sons: David Meuser and Carl Meuser and wife, Lisa Larson Meuser; her brother, Keith McFall and wife, Rhoda;  step-grandson, Zachary Adams; several nieces and nephews; her Community Health Center and United Methodist Church families; other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be live streamed Monday, November 2, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. on www.facebook.com/prairierosefuneralhomes.   A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Friends may view and register 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony.

Memorials in memory of Ruth may be made to the Community Health Center and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
