Roxanne Aline Goodenough was born on May 26, 1950 in Portis, Kansas to Joseph Peter Charles Gengler and Edna June (White) Gengler.

On May 3, 1986, Roxanne married Kenneth Goodenough in Sharon, Kansas.  They made their home in Attica, Kansas.

Roxanne owned and operated Roxie's Place in Attica for several years where many people enjoyed good times and good food.  Later she became the activities director at Heritage Estates in Harper, Kansas where she was very happy caring for others.

Only six months after the passing of her husband, Roxanne passed away at the Kingman Hospital on March 20, 2023 at the age of 72.  She is preceded in death are her parents, husband, and sister, Joann Luntsford.  Roxanne is survived by her children: Evan Hance (Robin) of Pratt, Kansas, Christina Goodenough of Wichita, Kansas, and Carol McKee (Ray) of Anthony, Kansas; grandchildren: Jerred McKee, Haley McKee (Nicholas Gates), Hazen Hance (Mason Jones), and Sevren Hance; great-grandchildren, Helena Jones and Scarlett Gates;  sisters, Charlene Anderson and Betty Kaba; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
