Rosalee Joyce (Bursch) Niethamer was born February 5, 1928 in Anthony, Kansas to Samuel W. and Gladys (Nordgren) Bursch.  She passed away on August 26, 2021 at her home in Anthony at the age of 93.

Rosalee attended Anthony School district, graduating from Anthony High School in 1946.  She worked as a secretary for the county superintendent of schools until her marriage to Donald F. Niethamer of Manchester, Oklahoma on April 16, 1949.  To this union four children were born:  Steven Wayne, Janice Ann, Daniel Alan, and Jeana Jo.

Rosalee was a housewife and enjoyed her family, her garden, and her pets.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents and her stepfather, Bill Hill; infant daughter, Janice; brothers, Robert Bursch and Willie Hill; sister, Wilma Houston; infant granddaughter, Jennifer; and niece, Carolyn Houston.

Rosalee will be deeply missed by her children: Steve and wife, Judy, Dan and wife, Lisa, and Jeana; grandchildren:  Chris, Ben, and David; great-granddaughter, Jacelyn, daughter of Chris; several nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by brothers: Joe Hill and Phil Hill and companion, Alfreda; and close family friends, Debbie Mangen and Mary Helen McKaig.

At Rosalee's request there will be no services and cremation has taken place.
