Ronnie D. Birchenough was born March 22, 1949 in Anthony, Kansas, son of Roy O. and Alma L. (Vanderpool) Birchenough. He grew up in Anthony, graduating from Anthony High School with the Class of 1967.

On August 21, 1971, Ron was united in marriage with Judy Reymer at the Christian Church in Anthony.

Ronnie was an accomplished photographer that served the Anthony community and its family for years. Ronnie was a graphic designer that worked with publishing companies throughout the Arizona valley. Ronnie was a talented artist that turned photos into life-like drawings for many loved ones.

Ronnie was a dedicated and loving husband to his surviving wife Judy. He loved and supported her through all her career journeys. He carried many weights of the family to support her in following all of her dreams because those all added up to their dreams they had together for all of their children. They had a perfectly imperfect true love that lasted a beautiful 47 years.

Ronnie was a hard-working and committed father, father-in-law, and grandfather. His three surviving girls, Jennifer, Crystal (Glenn) (Rylee, Kylee, Jennalee, Jolianna) and Teri (Ricardo). As if having four women in his house wasn't enough, with his heart of gold and giving nature, he took his niece, Wendy in as his fourth daughter. Ronnie taught all his daughters how to be strong women long before it became popular on social media. He taught his girls to be selfless and love unconditionally. He spelled love for his girls TIME. From tractor rides, sports games, dance lessons, early morning doughnut trips, and photo shoots.

Ronnie leaves behind many friends and family that have fond memories of him. He will be missed dearly.

Ron and Judy longed to come back home to Anthony and had just made the move two days before Ron passed away at his home in Anthony, Kansas on March 22, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard; father-in-law, Joseph D. Reymer; and brother-in-law, Joe Reymer.

Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Betty Reymer; brother-in-law, Gary Reymer and wife, Darcy; nieces: Kelsey, Jessica, Lacee, Kirsten and Callista; many dear cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Christian Church in Anthony.  Inurnment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.

Friends may register 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony, Kansas.

Memorials in memory of Ron may be made to the Historic Anthony Theatre or to The Art's Center and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
