Ronda DeLee (Trotter) Miller began her journey in life on August 21, 1947, born to Glenn R. and Gladys F. (Brown) Trotter. A few years later a baby sister, Vickie, was added to the family. She grew up in Attica, Kansas, where she attended grade school and Attica High School, graduating with the class of 1965.
Later in 1965 she met her future husband, David Miller. The couple were married on April 14, 1967 and made their first home in Anthony, Kansas. On July 10, 1968, they were blessed with a daughter, Jamie.
The family moved a few times for Dave's job before they finally settled in Attica. Ronda had many different jobs: wife, mother, secretary, clerk, gas attendant, Roger's Pharmacy, Community Service Coordinator, and she could even do an oil change. Ronda loved to cook for family because they weren't picky eaters (not). Another thing she liked to do was driving around with Leslie Casas to W & O (watch and observe).
Ronda's favorite night of the week was bingo night, where her and her cousin, Linda would play numerous cards at one time, taking up half of the table just to themselves. She was a very serious person when it came to bingo. You could also often find her at the bowling alley. Ronda would call many different games up in the announcer's stand at the ballfield. She used to be able to spot a ball or strike before her husband, the umpire at the time, could make the call.
After Dave took an early retirement, the couple got to spend a lot of time together. Ronda enjoyed playing cards, dominos, SkipBo, and Candy Crush on her tablet (even though she hated modern technology). She also hated silly putty, slime, Play-Doh, and glitter just as much.
Ronda's journey in life ended on June 8, 2021 at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Gladys Trotter; her sister, Vickie Nicholas; son-in-law, Gary Watts; granddaughter, Stacia Peach; and an unwanted stepson, Bob Hosier (who really was part of the family). Ronda is survived by her husband, David of the home; daughter, Jamie of Attica; brother-in-law, Garry Nicholas; very special young lady, Victoria Broce; grandson, Chris Watts; great-grandchildren, Devin Watts and Tatum Smith; and a host of family and friends.
