Ralph Denzil Wyatt Jr., joined his wife, Ella, in Heaven on May 7, 2017. He passed away peacefully with his kids by his side.

Ralph was born in Ashland, Kansas on August 2, 1933 to Ralph Wyatt Sr. and Jessie (Ballentyne) Wyatt, in Mrs. Cress Nursing Home. He lived in Ashland for 15 years. Then he and his family moved to a farm south of Attica, Kansas, where he graduated high school as a Bulldog in 1951.

After high school, Ralph moved to Anthony, Kansas. In 1956, he married the love of his life, Ella Maxine (Sullivan) Wyatt. He and Ella were married for 58 years and were a true example of love and lasting marriage to each of their three children, Vickie, Brenda and Eugene, 10 grandkids, and 9 great-grandkids. During the 20 years they lived in Anthony, Ralph worked as a custom harvester for 3 years, at Boeing Aircraft for 13 years, Beech Aircraft for 1 year and Cessna Aircraft for 3 years. He was mighty proud of the 7,000 plus airplanes that he helped build.

In 1972, Ralph believed that God was leading him down a new path, and he pursued one of his strongest passions, life as a farmer, and moved his family of 5 to a farm south of Attica. One of his favorite parts of farming was plowing the fields. He loved the smell of the dirt and watching it roll over in the fields from the rearview mirror of his tractor, Case brand, of course. He also enjoyed working cattle, and his grandkids have the best memories of riding in his pick-up to feed them. The ride wasn't complete without grandpa singing "The Old Gray Mare" with the windows down.

Ralph was a man of faith, and he shared God with everyone he met. He served as an elder in the Attica Christian Church. Through the years, he was a member of the Farm Bureau Board, Attica Saddle Club President and board member, and a board member of Attica Public Schools. He enjoyed attending sporting events, especially basketball and football games. He knew all of the athletes by name and wore his black and gold proudly! Go Bulldogs!

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Ella; his parents, Ralph and Jessie Wyatt; and sisters: Bobbye McIntyre, Betty Snyder and Carol Stitt.

Left behind to honor his memory, are his daughters: Vickie Blurton and husband, Mike, and Brenda Loreg and husband, Mike; son, Eugene Wyatt and wife, Carolyn, all of Attica; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Mike Wyatt of Anthony; other relatives, many friends and the Bulldog Community.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Christian Church in Attica, Kansas with Jeffery Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Attica Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Prairie Rose in Anthony.

Memorials in memory of Ralph may be made to the Attica Christian Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
