Michael Ray Hawkins was born on April 27, 1952 in Harper, Kansas to Ottus Vivian and Margaret Darleen (Kaup) Hawkins.  He passed away after a long battle with his health on May 19, 2024 at the Attica Long Term Care Center.

At a young age, Mike began working with his dad as a mechanic.  He worked at some various places before becoming an armed security guard and driver for an armored car service.  Mike was blessed with two daughters, September Renee` and Michelle Rae.  He loved his family, friends, music, the Beatles, driving around, hot rods, and movies.  After his father passed away, he took care of his mother.

Preceding Mike in death are his parents, Ottus and Darleen Hawkins and his daughter, Michelle Crain.  He is survived by his daughter, September Evans of Harper; sister, Gloria Tracy (Ron) of Harper; brother, Gary Hawkins of North Hollywood, California; grandchildren: Chandler Crain, Walker Evans, and Elliott Evans; great-granddaughter, Penelope Crain; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place and the family will have a private service.
