Mary Frances King, daughter of Braton H. Pritchard and Jessie May (Newman) Pritchard, was born May 3, 1919 in Madison, Kansas. Mary passed away on the morning of April 18, 2018 at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma of natural causes.
Mary attended Madison High School where she became a member of the National Honor Society her senior year in school.
Mary wed William Robert (Ottie) King, living in Madison before moving to Attica, Ks.
Mary had quite the green thumb. You could always find her working in the garden or on many of her houseplants and flowers.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William and their four children, Roberta Stewart, John King, Renetta Wagner, and Ron King; and her grandson, Bryan King. Mary will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Greg Cook, Doug Cook, Jacque Alioto, Devin Floyd, Robin Floyd, Blake King, Tara King, and Angie Sizinski; many great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Viewing and registration is 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Harper, Kansas.
Graveside Service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Blakely Cemetery, northwest of Madison, Kansas with Pastor Laura Burnett officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to RoseRock Hospice of Tulsa, Oklahoma and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 613 W 14th ~ Harper, Kansas 67058 is in charge of the arrangements.
