Linda Kay Adams was born August 20, 1947, daughter of James Charles Adams and Veda (Law) Adams, at the family home in Crisfield, Kansas.
She worked at Nelson's Restaurant and cleaned the office at the Anthony Airport, before retiring from Chaparral High School where she worked as a janitor.
Linda enjoyed all animals and talked often about the animals that were kept at the high school. She always had pet dogs and cats. She loved to paint and draw, blessing many with her artwork.
She was a strong Christian woman and talented musician, sharing her talent with many. God came first with her, followed by family and her church family.
On February 21, 2022, Linda passed away at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James W. "Chuck" Adams; sister, Lois Clay; and half-brother, Stephen Robert.
Linda is survived by her nephews: Jackie Clay and Donald Adams; nieces: Lois Ann Clay and Charlotte Hudson; one aunt, Eva; and many cousins.
Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the First Pentecostal Church in Anthony with Pastor Ron Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Burchfiel Cemetery, south of Anthony.
Memorials in memory Linda may be made to the First Pentecostal Church or to the Kansas Humane Society, in care of Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 602 E. Main St., Anthony, KS 67003.
