Leota D. Conrady was born September 26, 1932, daughter of Fred and Mollie (Wiseley) Burlie. She grew up on a farm north of Wakita, graduating from Wakita High School with the Class of 1950.

On February 3, 1950, she was united in marriage with Edwin C. Conrady in the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, south of Manchester, Oklahoma.  This union was blessed with four children: Terry, Rickie, Keith, and Lori. The family made their home on a farm near Wakita, Oklahoma, where Leota took great pride in being a mother and farm wife.  Knowing how blessed she was, led her to be an extremely devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.    She raised her family with great faith and was a devout member of St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Wakita and the Altar Society.

Leota passed away January 1, 2026 in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 93, reuniting with her beloved husband, Edwin C. Conrady. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Verlyn and Eldon Burlie.

She will be deeply missed by her children: Terry (Paula) Conrady, Dr. Rickie (Debbie) Conrady, Keith (Kelly) Conrady, and Lori (Harold) Conrady-Stevens; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; other relatives and many friends.

Friends may view 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in MEDFORD, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
