Lavena N. Blye was born October 25, 1928, daughter of Orville and Alta (Snyder) Blye. She made her home in Manchester, Oklahoma the majority of her life.  She worked at Manchester Manufacturing as a secretary until retiring.

On April 21, 2025, Lavena passed away at the Community Health Center in Wakita, Oklahoma at the age of 96.  She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings: Dale, Darrell, Lloyd, Ezra, and Marion Blye and Loretta Hagerman.

Lavena will be deeply missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Gaylen and Janice Jackson; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; her Community Health Center family; and friends.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Manchester Cemetery, corner of Hwy 132 and Osage Road, Manchester, Oklahoma.
