Larry Glenn Stark, born to Paul James Stark and Edith Evelyn (Cox) Stark on December 13th 1943 in Hutchinson, KS, passed away August 14th 2025 in the care home in Anthony Ks. He always said that the 13th was his lucky number. Larry was the 3rd son born. He went to Hazelton High School where he graduated. He loved being outdoors and you could always find him tinkering with something. He had a lot of skills in different areas. Larry loved animals of all sorts. He took pride in raising dogs, something he accomplished throughout his life. He and his brothers, Fred and Robert, had cattle together for a while. Larry worked for City Service when he was a young man.

Larry met Carol Francis Burns and they got married on October 30th 1969. To this union 1 daughter was born, Vana Michelle Stark, on July 23rd 1971. Vana was very much a daddy's girl. Wherever Larry was, Vana was behind him.

In 1977, Larry was taking care of cattle and breaking young Colts for Jess Yokum. Vana couldn't wait to get out of school so she could go and ride with her daddy. He also worked for Harper County Road and Bridge at the Attica Shop and for Brown Spur Township.

Larry and Vana lived northwest of Corwin and had Nubian dairy goats, baby calves, pigs, and dogs to take care of on the farm. There was never a dull moment around the farm.

In 1988, Larry became a grandpa to his grandson, Larry William. In 1990, he became a grandpa to Vanessa Evelyn and a bonus granddaughter, Brandy Linn McCright. Larry taught his daughter and grandkids how to hunt and handle a gun the proper way. They all loved going coyote hunting with dad and Grandpa. Hunting coyotes with his grandson was his favorite pastime. When Vana was a teenager, Larry and her would walk miles Coon hunting. Larry found comfort with his dogs in his own personal quiet place. He was a man that valued solitude.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Edith Stark; brothers: Fred Stark and Robert Stark; and infant twin siblings: Beverly Ann and Ronald Stark.

Larry will be deeply missed by his daughter, Vana Stark and fiancé, Verlyn, of Buffalo, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Brandy (Austin) McCright, Willie (Jessica) Duhon, and Vanessa (Tracee) Allen; great-grandkids: David Swann, Dillon Beck, Michael McCright, Spencer Beck, Tyson Duhon, Brihanna Duhon, Brantly Duhon, Cayden Clark, Dallas Duhon, Matthew Long, and Elizabeth Moreci.

Per Larry's request there will be no funeral or celebration of life.
