Kenneth Lee Goodenough was born on December 6, 1959 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas to Donald Leon and Gladys Carolyn (Stienberger) Haddock. This is where he grew up and went to school, graduating from Medicine Lodge High School. He furthered his education by attending Pratt Community College for a short time.
On May 3, 1986, Kenneth married Roxanne Gengler in Sharon, Kansas and became the father to her three children. The family made their home in Attica, Kansas. Kenneth worked for Harper County Road & Bridge as a heavy equipment operator.
Spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, is what Kenneth loved dearly. He would occasionally sneak off to go fishing or run a car in a demolition derby.
After a courageous battle with failing health, Kenneth passed away on September 13, 2022 in his home with family by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and his brother, Randy Goodenough. Kenneth is survived by wife, Roxanne of the home; children: Evan Hance (Robin) of Pratt, Kansas, Christina Goodenough of Wichita, Kansas, and Carol McKee (Ray) of Anthony, Kansas; grandchildren: Jerred McKee, Haley McKee (Nicholas Gates), Hazen Hance (Mason Jones), and Sevren Hance; great-grandchildren, Helena Jones and Baby Girl Gates; mother, Carolyn Haddock of Attica; sister, Ellen Crites (Matt Gnoth) of Sharon; nieces, Kayla and Krista Crites; other relatives and friends.
