Junea Louise Clark, 70, of Bethany, OK passed away September 12, 2017. She was born November 8, 1946 in Anthony, Kansas to Richard and Lois McKee. She graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University receiving her Liberal Arts degree in 1968. In June of that same year, she married Stephen Clark and started her teaching career in Home Ec and Science. After teaching for several years, she worked in sales and customer service, retiring from Midland Mortgage in 2013.
Junea was an avid quilter, taking an active role in the Central OK Quilt Guild. She also enjoyed being an active member of St. John's UMC and New Hope UMC, loved singing in the choir, teaching children and visiting with family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Steve; daughter, Kendra; son, Rob and wife Kim and children Hannah and Kendall of Austin, TX; mother, Lois; brother, Richard McKee and wife Toni; brother, Kerry McKee; nieces: Tiffani, Kelly, and Katie; nephew, Sean; and extended family in Kansas. She is preceded in death by her father Richard "Steve" McKee.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, September 29, 2017 at New Hope UMC. Graveside Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Burchfiel Cemetery south of Anthony, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Burchfiel UMC, south of Anthony.
