Joyce E. Noah was born September 12, 1939 in a taxi cab on the way to a hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  She was the daughter of Donald R. and Erma Mae (Myers) Mayo.  She grew up in Anthony, Kansas with two sisters, Cleta and Carol, and one brother, Richard.

Joyce was blessed with three children:  Regina, Andrea, and Travis.  She also raised one of her grandsons, Christopher.

Later in life, Joyce married Maurice Noah.  Joyce cared for Maurice until he passed away in 1997.

Joyce was an animal lover.  She was always apt to bring home and care for any animal she found in need.

On November 2, 2020, Joyce passed away at the Anthony Community Care Center at the age of 81.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cleta Alexander; brother, Richard Mayo; and one grandson, Aiden Roberts.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her sister, Carol Drosselmeyer and husband, Terry; her children: Regina, Andrea, and Travis; several grandchildren including Christopher; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Spring Grove Cemetery, west of Anthony, Kansas.

Viewing and registry will be held 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony.

Memorials in memory of Joyce may be made to the Kansas Humane Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
