Jeremy Lee Shaddox was born July 1, 1998, in Kingman, Kansas, son of Jerry and Leisa (Little) Shaddox.  He grew up in Attica, Kansas, and lived much of his life there. As a kid Jeremy was full of excitement and love and he could often be found picking on his siblings, no matter if they were bigger or smaller. He enjoyed so many things, including basketball, football, fishing, riding bikes, and spending time with family and friends.

On Feb 23, 2016, he met the love of his life Lillianna Horner. In their love, they welcomed three beautiful children: Jaxton, Emberlee, and Oliver. Jeremy's children were his world, and he would carry on in conversation about them with pride and joy.

As an adult, Jeremy worked a variety of jobs including tree trimming and oilfield work. Some of his hobbies included watching football and cheering on his Chiefs, as well as listening to many different music artists. But his favorite hobby was fishing. Any weekend, if it was possible, you could catch him fishing with his family. He enjoyed teaching his children the best way to cast and reel in some catfish and encouraged them to continue trying when they failed. When the sun fell, you could see him, his dad, and brothers sitting on the side of the lake enjoying the evening and hoping for a big ole catfish to reel in.

On September 12, 2025, Jeremy passed away at Wesley Medical Center at the age of 27.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Helen Little of Attica, Kansas, and Gerald Shaddox of Kingman, Kansas.

Jeremy will be deeply missed by his parents, Jerry and Leisa Shaddox; his grandmother, Shirley Shaddox; his children: Jaxton, Emberlee, and Oliver; siblings: Justin Shaddox, Shaena Baker, Brandi (Dylan) Neal, Amber (James) Sciara, Heather (Ryan) Miller, Tisha Prescott, and Blake Shaddox; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; and a host of friends.

Memorial graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Attica Cemetery, Attica, Kansas, with Pastor Jason Byars officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jeremy Shaddox Memorial Fund, in support of his burial and children, and can be sent in care of Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 602 E. Main St., Anthony, KS 67003.
