Obituary

Jeremy Sean Green was born on November 4, 1972 in Wichita, Kansas to James Stanley and Florence Jane (Oakman) Green. He passed away on April 2, 2017 at the age of 44 in rural Harper, Kansas as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Furthering his education, Jeremy was very proud of the trade certificates he received in fitness and nutrition. He was an avid arm wrestler where he was a member of WAL (World Armwrestling League). Recently getting into blacksmithing, he enjoyed making knives. Jeremy enjoyed cooking, hunting, raising animals like chickens and pigs, and was a very determined person. This showed the most when he taught himself how to remodel as he transformed an old farmhouse into a modern home.

On August 31, 2012, Jeremy was united in marriage with Holli Kelley. Becoming Holli's husband also meant becoming a father to her children, Saige & Brenton. They made their home west of Harper and Jeremy worked for Harper Industries. Although Jeremy never had children of his own, he had a dog named Fatty Gizmo that was a special part of his life for 17 years.

Preceding Jeremy in death are his mother, Florence; grandmother, Betty Scheikofsky; grandfather, Weldon Green; uncle, Chuck Oakman; aunt, Linda Blake; and great-nephew, Titus Ryberg. Jeremy had recently held an arm wrestling tournament in memory of Titus.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Holli Green of the home; father, Jim Green of Price, Oklahoma; sisters: Melisa Ryberg (Curtis Thorton) and Crystal Paine (Sean) both of Oxford, Kansas and Shawnda Fletcher of Montrose, Colorado; step-children, Saige and Brenton; 5 nephews and 9 nieces; many aunts and uncles; numerous cousins; other relatives and many friends.
