Hunter Lee Voyles was born on December 17, 2003 in Wichita, Kansas to Russell Lee and Sara Elaine (Eslinger) Voyles.  The family made their home in the Norwich area and Hunter attended Norwich schools from preschool to just starting his senior year of high school.  Hunter showed his love to his four siblings as well as cousins and other family members by razzing them and sharing his sense of humor.

Although school wasn't his favorite place, Hunter enjoyed shop class and participating in sports.  During junior high, he went out for all sports but then just focused on football in high school.  But he'd much rather be running around with friends, tinkering with vehicles, listening to music, or just being outdoors.

Video games and watching videos on his phone did occupy some of Hunter's time.  But they didn't satisfy his need for driving fast in his car, the pickup he just got, his dirt bike, or his go-cart.  He loved to make little upgrades to his vehicles.  Hunter had many friends and loved cruising vehicles with them while listening to music.  He loved all types of music and could even be caught dancing when he thought no one was watching, but his favorite was the old country songs.

Leaving this earth way too soon, Hunter passed away on August 23, 2021.  He is predeceased by his grandfather, Ronald Eslinger and his aunt, Angela Rose (Voyles) Rhodes.  Hunter will forever be missed and kept in the hearts of all who were close to him.  He is survived by his parents, Russell and Sara Voyles of Rago; siblings: Braden Wayne, Tristan Leyne, Montanna Marie-Sue, and Ryker Dawson Voyles; grandparents: Carol Eslinger of Harper, Barbara and Terry Wilson of Milton, and Dennis and Sandy Voyles of El Dorado; great-grandmother, Tuddy Eslinger of Harper; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members; and many, many friends.

A Celebration of Life is 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Norwich City Park with Pastor Cathy Holley officiating.  Please bring a lawn chair and maybe an umbrella for shade.

Friends may register from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and family will be present to receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hunter Voyles Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of the funeral home.  The family will use these contributions to honor and memorialize Hunter through the school or community.
