Obituary

Freddie Jackson was born April 16, 1942 in Platteville, Wisconsin, son of Elmer Leroy and Arnella (Wells) Jackson.

In 1963, Fred married Stella Jackson in Red Cloud, Nebraska.  Stella was from Anthony, Kansas where they made their home.  This union was blessed with three children:  Freddie, Donald and Ivy.

Fred spent most of life self employed, doing hydraulic jack repairs and tree trimming and removal.  He was also a knowledgeable mechanic and enjoyed working on trucks.

Fred was an amazing man, who loved his family.  He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.  He had a faith in God and could often be found reading his bible.  A kind hearted man, he would have given anyone the shirt off of his back.

On March 22, 2020, Fred passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 77.   He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy; his mother Arnella Palmer; his son, Donald; and all 8 of his siblings.

Fred will be deeply missed by his wife, Stella; his son, Freddie and companion, Jacqueline; his daughter, Ivy Danels and husband, Joe;  5 grandchildren:  Candace Jackson, Lexis Becker, Mercedes Jackson, Jen Elders Watkins, and Emerald Jackson; 5 great-grandchildren:  Joseph Jackson Trahan, Braxton Patterson, Karson Patterson, Maylee Watkins, and Kash Watkins; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
