Frances Geneva Rottering, 71, passed away at home in Harper on May 31, 2017. Frances was born on December 10, 1945 at Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois to Francis Joseph and Geneva Genevieve (Hershe) Pelzl.

Frances married Leo Augustine Rottering on December 27, 1966 in Danville, Kansas. They were blessed with two children, Douglas and Michelle.

Preceding her in death are her parents, FJ and Geneva and a brother, Henry. She is survived by her husband, Leo of the home; son, Douglas Rottering of Independence, Missouri; daughter, Michelle Harvell and her husband, Chris of Fort Worth, Texas; one grandchild; brother, Daniel Pelzl and his wife, Helen of Yellow Springs, Ohio; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
