Floyd Lee "Skeet" Casper was born July 12, 1926 in Lucas, Kansas, son of Clarence and Jenny (Hock) Casper.  He passed away June 19, 2022 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital at the age of 95.

On June 15, 1946, Floyd was united in marriage with Gladys Mae Pritchard in El Dorado, Kansas and to this union four children were born: Rita, Rick, Patti, and Jim.  The family moved from El Dorado to Attica, Kanas in 1958, where Floyd has lived ever since.

Floyd worked many years for Mobile Oil before retiring.  Together he and Gladys were avid bowlers and were members of a league for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being a shade tree mechanic.  He raised a colony of purple martins which took him many years.  Most of all he loved his family and was wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gladys on October 21, 2013; sister, Vera Chandler; and brother, Ray Casper.

Floyd will be deeply missed by his children:  Rita Casper, Rick Casper and wife, Donna, Patti Hudson and husband, Steve, and Jim Casper and wife, Renee; sister, Maybell Burnett; 8 grandchildren:  Jeremy Casper (Sandy), Justin Casper, Buddy Brownell (Malanee), Kristine Casper, Sedna Casper, Chelsea Casper, Shannen Robertson (Tony), and Jason Loucks (Lisa); 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Faith Baptist Church in Attica, Kansas.  A private burial will follow in the Attica Cemetery.

Viewing and registry 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony.
