Earl McDonald was born January 16, 1945 in Anthony, Kansas, son of Leroy R. and Ora Marie (Patterson) McDonald. He graduated from Anthony High School.

Earl married and was blessed with three children: Michael, Timothy and Crystal. He raised his family in Wichita. Before retiring he built horse trailers for Campbell Coach. In his spare time, Earl enjoyed building model cars and watching TV.

In 2008, Earl married Barbara Young in Omaha, Nebraska.

On June 11, 2018, Earl passed away at Douglas County Health Center in Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Earl will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara; his children: Michael McDonald, Timothy McDonald and Crystal Simoens; brothers, Wayne McDonald and wife, Mary, and Daryl McDonald; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Spring Grove Cemetery in Anthony, Kansas. Memorials may be made to Douglas County Health Center and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
