Donna Mae Greve was born December 22, 1925 in Freeport, Kansas, the only child born to Oda and Bessie (Cantwell) Dickey. She grew up on a farm south of Bluff City. She attended school in Wakita, Oklahoma before graduating from Bluff City High School in 1943. She furthered her education at Phillips University in Enid and Emporia State University. She received a teaching certificate and taught school until meeting, Bill, the love of her life.

On October 12, 1950, Donna was united in marriage with William H. "Bill" Greve at her parent's home in Bluff City. This union was blessed with two sons, Dickey Joe and Hal Gene, and one daughter who passed in infancy, Kimberly Kay.

Donna and Bill made their home on a farm near Freeport, Kansas. Donna loved farming with her husband, spending time with her family, raising flowers and being involved in social activities. She attended the Freeport Presbyterian Church for many years with Bill, and was a member of the Anthony Christian Church. She loved both of her church families.

After Bill passed away on May 8, 2015, Donna moved to Country Living in Anthony. She loved living there and received wonderful care from the loving staff.

On June 10, 2017, Donna passed away peacefully in her sleep at Country Living at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 19 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant daughter.

Donna will be deeply missed by her sons: Dickey Joe and wife, Leigh Ann, and Hal Gene and wife, Sheryl; five grandchildren: Chris Greve and wife, Jennifer, Bradley Greve and wife, Tami, Lindsay Schurle and husband, Chris, Austin Greve and fiancé, Kaitlyn Buck, and Tanner Greve and companion, Heidi Evans; 8 great-grandchildren: Arek, Kale, Bodin, Linden, Coy and Sutton Greve and Kaslynn and Kolten Schurle; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday.

Memorials in memory of Donna may be made to Country Living or the Freeport Presbyterian Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
