Donald J. Koeppen, 74, of Attica, Kansas went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Don was born to Jess and Hazel (Roberts) Koeppen on August 11, 1942. He grew up with his brother Roger and graduated from Attica High School in 1960.

Don married Marcia McGuire on June 1, 1963 in Nashville, Kansas. To this union, Paige and Andrew were born. The family resided in Attica. Don was a devoted family man, both to his children and grandchildren.

Don worked with his dad Jess, and ran Koeppen Used Cars for 45 years. His car business was his passion. Don's work ethic, kindness, and fairness were qualities he embraced while running his business.

Preceding him in death was the love of his life, Marcia on March 9, 2011 as well as both his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Paige Koeppen of Wichita; son, Andrew Koeppen and wife, Galeen, and his grandchildren: Chase, Ashtyn, Jena, and Drew, all of Goddard; and brother, Roger Koeppen and wife, Dottie of Wichita. He will be missed greatly by both family and friends.

Friends may view and register from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and family will be present for visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the United Methodist Church in Attica, Kansas with Pastor Ken Keeling officiating. Interment will follow at the Attica Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Attica United Methodist Church or Attica Public Library and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
