Daniel Lee Aleshire was born June 19, 1958 in Anthony, Kansas, son of George Clinton and Ruth Marie (Astle) Aleshire.

On March 6, 1976, Danny was united in marriage with Tracy Haakinson in Anthony, Kansas.  They made their home in Anthony and were blessed with two daughters: Ami and Alison.

Danny retired in 2020 from Attica Engineering.  He was a member of the Anthony Christian Church and the Anthony Gun Club.

On August 17, 2021, Danny passed away at his home at the age of 63 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Carter Denton; brothers-in-law: Mike Drosselmeyer, Ron Setchell, and Larry Kraus.

Danny will be deeply missed by his wife, Tracy; daughters, Ami DeLacerda and Alison White and husband, Aaron; sisters: Mary Davis and husband, Dan, Jan Drosselmeyer, and Dori Setchell; grandchildren: Max, Sam, Ella, Harper, and Ferris; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Anthony Christian Church with Pastor Ron Eden officiating.

Friends may register from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Prairie Rose in Anthony.

Memorials in memory of Daniel may be made to the Anthony Christian Church or to The Art's Center, and may be sent in care of Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 602 E. Main St., Anthony, KS 67003.
