Connie Sue Boggs was born July 3, 1948 in Hardtner, Kansas, daughter of Erich and Dora (Terwort) Wenzel.  She passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 76.

On April 27, 1973, Connie was united in marriage with John Boggs in Medicine Lodge, Kansas.  This union was blessed with two children: Joni and Michael.

Connie dedicated much of her life to working on dairy farms, where she displayed diligence and a strong work ethic.  Outside of her professional life, Connie found joy in simple pleasures.  She was an avid bingo player and loved spending her leisure time working on puzzles and crafts.  Her affection for animals was well-known among her family and friends who often saw her nurturing spirit shine through in her interactions with pets and wildlife alike.

Connie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dora Wenzel; her father, Erich Wenzel; her brother, Richard Wenzel; and her granddaughter, Courtany Michelle Boggs.

Connie leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her devoted husband, John Boggs; her daughter, Joni Sarver and her husband, Kevin; her son, Michael Boggs and his wife, Amanda; and her sisters, Bonnie Fischer and Betty Benson.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Michelle Mercer and husband, Michael, Jevin Sarver, Jadelyn Sarver, Devin Sarver, Daci Sarver, Brittany Boggs, and Erich Boggs; as well as her great-grandchildren, Paisleigh and Talon Mercer, and Courtany and Damien.

Connie's warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and interests will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Spring Grove Cemetery, west of Anthony, with Pastor Tom Walters officiating.

Friends may view and register from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Prairie Rose in Anthony.
