Charles Wayne Neff, you most likely knew him as Neffer or Wayne, was born on July 27, 1950 in Harper, Kansas to Clay W. and Anna Eldora (Burnett) Neff.  He graduated from Attica High School with the class of 1968.

On May 7, 1983 Wayne was united in marriage to Sherlyn Lynette Hostetler in Harper.  The two lived, worked, and had fun together for almost 40 years.

To honor Wayne's (or Neffer's) wishes, there won't be a long obituary written, even though it wouldn't be hard to do.  His many contributions to his family's, friends' and community's lives was noticed and appreciated.

At the age of 71 years, 4 months, and 19 days, Wayne passed away on December 16, 2021 at his rural Attica home with Sherlyn by his side.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Eldora Neff.

Celebration of Life is 2:00 p.m. on February 5, 2022 at the Attica Cemetery with Pastor Royce Vogt officiating.  Remembrance and fellowship will then continue at the Attica Memorial Building.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Cemetery or Kansas Humane Society and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
