Chandler Curtis Christiansen was born on March 12, 1995 in Great Bend, Kansas to Curtis Lee Christiansen and Brook Rennee' (Wohlschlegel) Stitt.  Chandler and his mom moved to Harper in 1997, where he attended Harper Elementary School and played flag football and Jr. Runners Football.  During his bitty ball basketball years, Chandler's mom stepped in as coach so there could be a team.  Chandler attended Chaparral High School to the middle of his sophomore year, then moved to Owasso, Oklahoma to live with his dad, where he attended Owasso High School, graduating with the class of 2013.    Chandler furthered his education by attending Tulsa Welding School, graduating with his technical degree in welding. While attending welding school, Chandler worked at the Port of Catoosa on the docks overnight, going from work to school each morning.

Moving back to Harper, Chandler worked various jobs until finding his passion of hotshot transporting.  He was recently in the process of starting his own business, C3 Transport.  Chandler was a member of the Diesel of Kansas club as he loved his diesel pickups.  Always having a smile on his face, Chandler loved deeply with a heart of gold.  He would drop everything to help anyone in need, giving his shirt off his back if necessary.

Due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, Chandler passed away in Wichita, Kansas on November 26, 2022 at the age of 27.  He is preceded in death by his aunt, Cherle Wohlschlegel and his step-grandfather, Kenneth "Mert" Straub.  Chandler is survived by his father, Curtis Christiansen (Tami) of Wichita; mother, Brook Stitt (Steve) of Anthony; siblings, Gage and Courtney Christiansen, both of Wichita; step-siblings: Branden Stitt (Boone Downing) of Wichita, Nathan Stitt of Anthony, Jason Stitt of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Baylee Colbert (Justin) of Perkins, Oklahoma; grandparents, Larry and Peggy Christiansen of Hudson, Kansas and Dale and Jody Wohlschlegel of Harper; aunts and uncles: Dawn and Jay Brack of Hutchinson, George Alan and Aimee Christiansen of Great Bend, and Gary Wohlschlegel of Harper; other relatives and many friends.

Friends may register from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the funeral home.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 at Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Harper and inurnment will follow at the Harper Cemetery.
