Carolyn Sue Dick, 68, of Spring, Texas passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Harper, KS. Graveside services will follow at the Attica Cemetery Visitation with family present will be held from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, February 13 at the funeral home. Memorials in Carolyn's name may be made out to the Samaritans Purse and may be left in the care of the Prairie Rose Funeral Home.
Carolyn was born on December 21, 1949 in Premont, Texas to loving parents Ervin and Grace "Sally" (Whiteside) Drake, the family moved to Attica, Kansas where she graduated High school in 1968.
She met Lester Dick and the couple were united in marriage on November 29, 1969 in Sharon, Kansas. Carolyn was a telephone operator and then later went into banking making a career as a loan processor for over 25 years. Carolyn was a cheerleader in high school loved watching and cheering her grandsons on as they played sports, which later led to her becoming a Baylor fan.
Carolyn and Lester were members of the Mustang, Oklahoma car club; during the holidays she loved packing shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child; she also enjoyed shopping and reading books.
Carolyn is survived by her mother, her daughter Beth Ann Harrison and husband Mark, grandsons: Tim Harrison, Matt Harrison and Ben Harrison; numerous nieces and nephews; sister Sharon Silcott and husband Dan.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lester, her father, daughter Amy Dick, brothers Larry and Jim Drake.
