Barbara Lucille (Hoard) Johnson was born in Winfield Kansas on September 4, 1947 to John Hoard and Ruby (Mann) Hoard. She departed this life Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Spring View Manor Nursing Home in Conway Springs at the age of 71.

Barbara attended school in the Wichita Area and received her GED. Barbara worked for Pratt

Community College in the Outreach Program at Chaparral High School and at Kingman.

Barbara married Rowan David Johnson on May 19th, 1998 in Wellington Kansas. They made their home in Danville Kansas.

Barbara was preceded by her parents and sisters, Marilyn and Martha. Barbara is survived by her husband David of Conway Springs; friends Robin and Blaine Luckner of Conway Springs; step-daughter Lorene Magee and husband Donnie of Haysville; numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Spring View Manor Nursing Home, Conway Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial has been set up with the Spring View Manor Activity Fund.
